Transportation Service Agreement

1. Payment Schedule and Late Fees

Weekly transportation fees must be paid in advance by Saturday at 2:00 PM for the upcoming week. Payments received after this deadline may result in suspension of service, a $20 late payment fee, or forfeiture of the student’s seat.

Monthly or bi-weekly payments must be made on schedule and in advance of service. Failure to do so will result in conversion to a weekly payment plan, subject to the same rules as above.

2. Non-Prorated Fees

Fees are not prorated. Payment is required regardless of attendance, as rates are already discounted for group transportation.

3. Holiday and Break Fees

A mandatory $35 fee per week applies during Thanksgiving, Christmas, Winter, Spring Break, and any other full week when school is not in session. This fee must be paid by the Friday before the break, with a grace period until the following Monday morning, to maintain the student’s seat.

4. Absence Notification

If your child will not require service on a scheduled day, a 24-hour notice is required. For emergencies, a minimum of two hours’ notice is necessary. Failure to provide notice after the first incident will result in a $5 additional fee for each subsequent occurrence.

5. Student Readiness and Pick-Up Procedures

Students must be ready to board upon the vehicle’s arrival. The driver will signal with two beeps and wait for two minutes. After this period, the driver will beep twice again before departing. The service cannot wait beyond this timeframe.

Please ensure your child is prepared to leave at the scheduled time. While exact arrival times may vary due to weather or traffic, readiness at the designated time helps ensure timely service.

6.Schedule Changes

Pick-up and drop-off times may change due to enrollment adjustments. Notice of any changes will be provided via text message or email at least one day in advance.

7. Communication

Drivers cannot make phone calls while operating the vehicle. However, a courtesy text message can be sent before departure upon parental request.

8. Missed Rides

* If a student misses their scheduled ride and a return trip is requested, a $15 fee will apply. Return trips are subject to driver availability and scheduling constraints.

9. Drop-Off Authorization

Children aged 9–16 require written consent to be dropped off without an adult present. Children 8 years old or younger must have an adult present to sign for them at drop-off.

10.Vehicle Conduct and Restrictions

No outside food is permitted unless provided by the company. Strong fragrances, hand sanitizers, hair sprays, or other fumes are prohibited to protect individuals with allergies.

11. Service Cancellation

DK-V.I.P. Transportation, LLC reserves the right to cancel service at any time due to conflicts, insufficient participation, or behavioral issues. Refunds are not provided for cancellations due to behavior or for services already commenced that week.

12. Electronic Devices

Children aged 8 and older may use electronic devices at their discretion. The company is not responsible for lost, damaged, or misused devices, nor for any charges incurred. Students must use earplugs or headphones while using devices on the bus.
